Another Saturday, another Shindig on the Green at Pack Square Park. The 60th season continues with an evening of Southern Appalachian music and dance on the Roger McGuire Green. Regional musicians play bluegrass, old-time, and mountain folk from 7 to 10 PM.

The Folk Heritage Committee curates each week's lineup to showcase the depth of Western North Carolina's musical heritage. Flatfoot dancing, partner dancing, and clogging keep the energy high all night.

This is free, family-friendly, and quintessentially Asheville. No tickets, no pretense. Just good music under the stars in the middle of downtown.
