Shindig on the Green is winding down with its second-to-last Saturday of the 2026 season. Pack Square Park's Roger McGuire Green hosts another evening of mountain music, dance, and community from 7 to 10 PM.

Bluegrass and old-time musicians from across Western North Carolina take the stage while flatfoot dancers and cloggers keep the tradition alive. The Folk Heritage Committee has been putting this on since 1967.

Free and open to the public. Only two weeks left in the season, so grab your chair and make it count.
