Kass Blount & the Burners open Fitz and the Wolfe's Jazz Appreciation Month Saturday with a 6pm set in the Palm Room. An Asheville jazz ensemble with chops and a deep bench, Blount's group leans into the standards book while leaving plenty of room for solos to stretch. The Palm Room is the intimate side of the venue — small footprint, close seating, built for music where the details matter. This is the early set, so come for dinner, stay for the show, and you can catch Queen Bee & the Honey Lovers at 9pm in the same room. Show at 6pm.
