Punk karaoke returns to Fleetwood's Thursday night with Search and Destroy — a full-on video karaoke set pulling from The Misfits, Ramones, Dead Kennedys, The Clash, Bikini Kill, Joy Division, Circle Jerks, Black Flag, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, and more. Pick your song, get on the mic, sweat it out.

West Asheville bar, live music venue, legal wedding chapel, and vintage shop rolled into one, housed in a former pawn shop at 496 Haywood Rd. Hosts rock, punk, and comedy acts along with weekly karaoke and DJ nights. Beer and wine bar only. Capacity around 50. A 1958 Cadillac sits out front; Sunday brings the Junk-O-Rama outdoor vintage market.

This place is genuinely hard to describe to someone who hasn't been—walk past the old Cadillac out front, grab a beer, flip through vintage racks, then watch a punk band play feet away from where someone just got legally married. Weeknights have live music or karaoke, Sundays have the flea market. It's small, loud, and worth every minute.
