Gov't Mule and Ziggy Marley at The Orange Peel plays Friday, September 25. Gov't Mule is Warren Haynes' southern rock/jam band out of Asheville, been going since 1994. They do heavy blues-rock with extended improvisations. Ziggy Marley is Bob's oldest son, eight-time Grammy winner who's been recording reggae since the 80s with the Melody Makers and solo. The Orange Peel is a single-level standing room with about 950 people packed on the floor when it sells out. No seats, no tiers, just concrete and a killer sound system that hits hard from every angle. Downtown Biltmore location means parking is a headache, so plan accordingly.
