El Ten Eleven at Asheville Music Hall plays Thursday, September 17. LA duo that's been making instrumental post-rock since 2002, just two guys with bass, drums, and a ton of loop pedals. They put out their self-titled debut on Fake Record Label and have been touring constantly ever since, building these huge layered soundscapes live without any backing tracks. Some shows here are all-ages and some aren't, so double-check the listing before you roll up to the upstairs room, nothing worse than getting turned around at the door when you're already dealing with downtown Biltmore parking. The policy flips depending on the night, and since this spot runs late with a younger crowd packing the standing room, it's worth confirming on Etix ahead of time.
