Billy Wayne Davis at Eulogy plays Sunday, July 12. Billy Wayne Davis is a standup comedian from Nashville who does that southern storytelling style mixed with darker observational stuff. He's been on Conan and has a couple albums out including Testify. Also does a podcast called Good Listen with his wife. Eulogy opened in 2023 as that 400-capacity middle ground South Slope needed, bigger than basement DIY spots but still intimate enough to actually see the stage without fighting through a thousand people. It's all standing room with Burial's sound system doing the heavy lifting, and while most shows are all-ages, the under-21 crowd has to clear out by 11pm so late sets stay loose.
