The pub sits at 95 Patton Ave, one block from Pritchard Park in the heart of downtown. Since 1997 it's been the spot for traditional music seven days a week, from Wednesday old-time sessions to Sunday Irish trad circles, all fueled by 18 rotating taps and a cask engine that pours proper beer for proper tunes.

Jack of the Wood is a downtown Asheville Celtic pub on Patton Avenue, hosting live music nights since 1997. Bluegrass jams, Irish folk sessions, and rotating bands fill the room most nights of the week.
