Food Connection hosts Family Jam, a free family-friendly music festival with 3 bands at the newly renovated HomeTrust Park (home of the Asheville Tourists) on Saturday, June 27 from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

The day features live performances from Grammy Award-winning Secret Agent 23 Skidoo, Asheville favorite Billy Jonas and his band, and rising local rock band Bluestreak. Expect kids' activities and games with a five-dollar wristband, raffle prizes, food and treats, concessions and adult beverages for purchase, and dancing for all ages.

This is the first public event at the park since its renovation, and admission is free for everyone. Rain or shine, Saturday, June 27 from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

Every donation helps Food Connection reduce food waste and ease hunger across Western North Carolina. The festival is sponsored by Best Buy Metals.

Food Connection which launched from Dig Local is a 501(c)3 nonprofit that rescues unserved prepared meals from catered events, conferences, restaurants and institutions and connects this food to people in need in order to reduce food waste & ease hunger.
