Saves the Day at Eulogy plays Friday, September 18. New Jersey emo/punk band that's been around since the mid-90s. Their album "Through Being Cool" is a scene classic and "Stay What You Are" had some crossover success in the early 2000s. Chris Conley's voice is pretty distinctive.

South Slope after dark hits different, and catching a band at this 400-cap room makes for a solid Friday move. Opened in 2023 with Burial's sound system, the standing-room setup keeps things close and the full bar keeps things loose, though if you're bringing younger friends they'll need to clear out by 11.

Eulogy is Burial Beer's dedicated music venue on Buxton Ave in Asheville's South Slope — a converted space for heavy, indie, electronic, jazz, and underground live shows, with a serious sound system. All ages until 11pm, 21+ after.
