Very Jerry Band at The Grey Eagle plays Monday, August 24. Very Jerry Band is a Grateful Dead tribute out of Asheville that's been playing the local circuit since the early 2000s. They do the full Dead catalog with rotating lineups and lean into the extended jams. Pretty much the house Dead band around here. The room's built for stripped-down sets where you can actually hear the wood and strings, so acoustic players come through clean without any arena nonsense. It's got that listening room setup where standing and seated areas both work, and the taqueria on-site means you're not scrambling for food before doors.
