The Scoop
Featherpocket Stringband pairs bluegrass speed, instrumentation and harmonies with indie songwriting. The band calls that combination alternative grass, with influences that reach beyond traditional string-band music. Its 2025 release Cowboy Hat is a place to start listening. The group has also worked on a full-length record with Los Angeles punkgrass band Watertower. Featherpocket plays The One Stop at 55 College Street. Music starts at 10 p.m., and this show is 21+.
