Jack of the Wood is doing their brunch thing again Sunday at noon. Good spot to ease into the afternoon with live music and probably a bloody mary if that's your speed. Jack of the Wood keeps their Sunday Irish sessions purely acoustic, which means the fiddles and bodhrán come through clean in the small room at 95 Patton. The pub's been anchoring downtown's Celtic scene since 1997, and those afternoon trad gatherings feel like the real thing, players circled up, whiskey pours from the bar, no microphones getting in the way.
