Certainly So builds its songs around vocal harmonies and the writing partnership of childhood friends Tanner Gray and Colby Wilson. The band's stated influences range from The Beatles and The Beach Boys to The Grateful Dead and Vampire Weekend.

Their debut album, Future Self Only Dreams, is a good starting point before the show. It was recorded at East Avalon with producer and engineer Toby Hulbert.

This Asheville date is at The One Stop, 55 College Street. Music starts at 10 p.m., and this show is 21+.

The One Stop is the smaller room at Asheville Music Hall, a bar, kitchen and live music venue at 55 College St in downtown Asheville. Shows usually start around 9 or 10 PM, with local and regional bands most nights and weekly nights like Shakedown Sundays. It's 21 and up, and the bar opens at 6 PM most nights and 5 PM on Friday and Saturday.

Regulars treat it as the late show, catching a band here after the main room lets out. It's a good place to hear a band before they move up to bigger rooms.
