Thursday night at Pisgah's Black Mountain spot, which is solid for a weeknight thing since the brewery vibe keeps it pretty laid back. 7pm start means you can still get home at a reasonable hour if you need to. The amphitheater runs all-ages for most outdoor shows and doesn't charge admission for kids under 12, so families can post up on the meadow without breaking the bank. Grab Etix tickets in advance for the bigger shows, or just roll through on Sundays when the jam sessions are free and open to anyone.
