Saturday night at Third Room with Flamingosis and Ask Carol. Good weekend spot if you want something a bit more intimate than the bigger rooms, decent sound in there and usually a solid crowd without being packed wall to wall. The room holds around 400 when it's configured for a performance, so you get a solid crowd without feeling packed in like a sardine can. The projection-mapping visuals cover the walls throughout the space, which makes sense given the place doubles as a multimedia art gallery during the week. Park across the street at Wall Street Garage if you're driving in.
