Jack of the Wood is doing their brunch thing again on Sunday starting at noon. The room gets a good crowd for weekend midday hangs, and it's a solid way to ease into the afternoon without committing your whole day. Jack of the Wood keeps their Sunday Irish sessions completely acoustic, which means the fiddles and flutes cut through the room the right way. The downtown pub has been doing this since 1997, back when it was Green Man's original brewery home, and the tradition holds every Sunday afternoon and evening alongside their rotating taps and proper fish and chips.
