Thursday at Eulogy works if you're looking for something low-key to break up the week. The room's intimate enough that you can actually settle in without feeling like you're fighting for space. The room sits on Buxton Ave where South Slope gets quieter after dark, making the walk to and from the show part of the deal. Standing room means you can post up near the bar or drift closer when the set hits, and the all-ages setup keeps things loose until the younger crowd clears out at eleven.
