Jack of the Wood on Patton has been slinging proper fish and chips and pouring from 18 rotating taps since 1997, back when it was Green Man's first home. The small pub runs a solid calendar of weekly residencies, old-time on Wednesdays, Drew Matulich's bluegrass jam on Thursdays, and weekend headliners, so grab a Reuben and settle in for whatever's happening that night.

Jack of the Wood is a downtown Asheville Celtic pub on Patton Avenue, hosting live music nights since 1997. Bluegrass jams, Irish folk sessions, and rotating bands fill the room most nights of the week.
