Patio Show: Tom Fenton & the Rhythmic Revolution

Patio Show: Tom Fenton & the Rhythmic Revolution plays The Grey Eagle on Tuesday, October 27. Get there a little early if you want a good spot.

The Grey Eagle holds down the RAD district after dark, a 550-cap room where the taqueria keeps you fed and the sound stays dialed in like a proper listening space. Parking around Clingman is tight so give yourself time, but once you're in it's all ages and the kind of spot where standing room mixes with a few seats if you need to post up.

The Grey Eagle is a River Arts District music venue and Asheville's longest-running all-ages room, with something on the calendar almost every night: indie bands, bluegrass legends, punk and the occasional hip-hop set. It started in the 1990s in a garage and grew into a 550-capacity hall with a big stage, great sound, an open dance floor, a patio and an in-house taqueria pouring craft beer.

Locals call The Grey Eagle the real deal for Asheville music, from local bands to national tours. The crowd is welcoming and into it, and the venue often hosts benefit shows and community events.
