The John Keck Band plays Jack Of The Wood on Friday, October 9 at 8:30 PM. Grab a friend and make a night of it.

The kitchen here takes its pub grub seriously, fish and chips that actually won awards, plus proper Reubens, Philly cheesesteaks, Irish stew, and burgers that hold up whether someone's nursing a whiskey or working through the 18 rotating taps. It's the kind of place where the food matches the room, which has been hosting Celtic and bluegrass players since 1997.

Jack of the Wood is a downtown Asheville Celtic pub on Patton Avenue, hosting live music nights since 1997. Bluegrass jams, Irish folk sessions, and rotating bands fill the room most nights of the week.

RECENT REVIEW: ...this place has ALL the live music, plus hearty pub grub and an amazing rotating tap selection... You !! must!! try the scotch egg and brussel sprouts!!!
