The Connect: Community Jam at The One Stop, on Tuesday, October 20 at 8:00 PM. Grab a friend and make a night of it.

This spot under the main hall is basically the after-party for players who just finished their own gigs around town, so the Sunday funk jam pulls serious talent looking to stretch out once the clock hits midnight. The full bar and kitchen keep things rolling late, and with only 200 bodies packed in, you're close enough to catch every conversation between sets.

The One Stop is the smaller room at Asheville Music Hall, a bar, kitchen and live music venue at 55 College St in downtown Asheville. Shows usually start around 9 or 10 PM, with local and regional bands most nights and weekly nights like Shakedown Sundays. It's 21 and up, and the bar opens at 6 PM most nights and 5 PM on Friday and Saturday.

Regulars treat it as the late show, catching a band here after the main room lets out. It's a good place to hear a band before they move up to bigger rooms.
