Jazz Showcase & Jam at Shamrock Irons Irish Pub, on Thursday, October 22 at 7:00 PM. Easy one to plan a night around.

You can post up close to the stage if you want to catch every note, or grab one of the pub tables farther back with a Guinness and something from the kitchen. Most nights bring live players through without a cover, so it's easy to make this a regular spot when you're downtown on College St.

Shamrock Irons is a downtown Asheville Irish pub hosting live music every night: Irish folk, acoustic singer-songwriters, and rotating cover bands. Guinness on draft, fish and chips on the menu.

"Typical pub atmosphere... fish and chips which was crisp, tasty and very good. Owner/waiter very accommodating friendly."
