Hatch Innovation Hub, run by the Hatch AVL Foundation, is the home for entrepreneurship in Western North Carolina, based at 45 S. French Broad Avenue in downtown Asheville. It brings together groups that support founders and offers affordable space, mentorship through the Hatch Mentoring Network, business-development programs from first idea to expansion, and help finding capital. Its Pitch Party events let local founders pitch to a live crowd, with Pitch Party Asheville on October 13, 2026, at 5:30 pm and Pitchgiving Asheville on November 17, 2026, at 6 pm, both free at the Hatch Event Space. Hatch and Venture Asheville say they helped founders raise $25 million and create 406 jobs over five years.

Asheville founders show up to Pitch Party nights to cheer on neighbors, and many of them found a mentor through Hatch.
