Gypsy Jazz with Dinah's Daydream plays Battery Park Book Exchange & Champagne Bar on Saturday, October 24 at 5:30 PM. Easy one to plan a night around.

The spot runs a full liquor license so anyone under 10 needs an adult keeping tabs the whole time, though the space welcomes families earlier in the week before the weekend 21+ policy kicks in. Two floors of couches and leather chairs make it easy to post up with a glass of champagne while browsing the stacks, and dogs can hang on the patio if your crew includes four-legged members.

Battery Park Book Exchange is a downtown Asheville used bookstore and champagne bar in the historic Grove Arcade on Battery Park Avenue. Hosts live jazz shows weekly in the back room.

Locals dig Battery Park for its cozy, creative ambiance and the unique pairing of books and bubbles. It’s a celebrated destination for book clubs, romantic dates, memorable afternoons with friends, and even dog-friendly patio people-watching. Both the knowledgeable staff and wide-ranging decor make every visit feel special, from savoring a glass of sparkling wine to discovering a rare first edition.
