Grand Opening at Ballcrank Pickleball Club - Oct. 24

Ballcrank Pickleball Club throws its grand opening party Saturday, Oct. 24, and it's free and open to everyone. The new club fills more than 30,000 square feet of the old Balcrank Corporation building in Weaverville with 12 cushioned indoor courts.

Expect music and food trucks all day, with beer, wine and soft drinks at the club's bar and cafe. Come see the courts, the pro shop and the patio, and ask about lessons, clinics and leagues for every skill level.

The party runs noon to 9 PM at 115 Reems Creek Road. Bring a paddle, bring a friend, and get a feel for the place before winter sends everyone indoors.

Ballcrank Pickleball Club is an indoor pickleball club in Weaverville, inside the former Balcrank Corporation headquarters on Reems Creek Road. It has 12 cushioned indoor courts, six with video capture, plus a bar and cafe, patio, pro shop and shower rooms. Leagues, lessons, clinics, open play and tournaments run year-round for every skill level.

Local players already point newcomers here for clinics and open play, and it's the easy answer when rain or cold shuts down the outdoor courts.
