Mountain Raise at Highland Brewing Company

Five local food and drink makers pitch the room at Mountain Raise, Mountain BizWorks' annual barn raising for the WNC economy. Devil's Foot, Matcha Nude, Habibi Village, Little Guatemala and Spice Witch each get five minutes to share where they're headed and what they need to get there.

The pitches run Thursday night from 6 to 9 at Highland's event center. Stick around after to meet the founders, trade introductions and taste what they make.

Early-bird tickets are $25 through Wednesday, Oct. 14, then $30 until they sell out. Grab yours now and come ready to help a local business take its next step.
