Wednesday night at the Grove Park Inn hits different when you need something low-key but still want to get out of the house. The Great Hall is one of those spots where you can settle in with a drink and actually hear yourself think between sets. Those massive fireplaces keep The Great Hall warm, but if you snag a table near the doors the mountain air cuts through once the sun drops. Worth throwing a jacket in the car since the granite walls hold the chill longer than you'd think.
