Mongo // Werewolf Hours // Drugula plays Fleetwood's on Friday, October 23 at 9:00 PM. Put it on the calendar now so you don't miss it.

The booths go fast so if you want to sit with your drink, roll in when doors open, otherwise you're posted up standing the rest of the night. This West Asheville spot on Haywood fits about 150 and keeps the full bar flowing late, with street parking that usually cooperates if you're not showing up at peak hour.

West Asheville bar, live music venue, legal wedding chapel, and vintage shop rolled into one, housed in a former pawn shop at 496 Haywood Rd. Hosts rock, punk, and comedy acts along with weekly karaoke and DJ nights. Beer and wine bar only. Capacity around 50. A 1958 Cadillac sits out front; Sunday brings the Junk-O-Rama outdoor vintage market.

Locals say it's hard to explain until you go. Walk past the old Cadillac out front, grab a beer, flip through the vintage racks, then watch a punk band play a few feet from where someone just got married. Weeknights bring live music or karaoke, and Sundays have the flea market.
