The Friday Drum Circle at Pritchard Park Downtown, on Friday, November 6 at 5:30 PM. Put it on the calendar now so you don't miss it.

The amphitheater steps are your only seating option besides a few benches, so toss a cushion in your bag unless you want granite bruises. Public restrooms are in nearby buildings, not on-site, and there's no parking lot so plan to walk a few blocks from wherever you land a spot.

Pritchard Park is a small public park in downtown Asheville at the corner of Patton Avenue and Haywood Street. Best known as the home of the Friday Night Drum Circle, this triangular green space is the unofficial gathering spot for street musicians, dancers, and anyone who wants to vibe with the city's creative energy.

If you haven't been to the drum circle, have you even been to Asheville? It's the real deal. Locals and tourists all mixed together, just grooving. The energy is unmatched.
