Asheville Music Hall on a Wednesday works if you're looking for a solid midweek show without the weekend chaos. The room's got good sound and enough space to move around, plus getting out before midnight on a school night is totally doable. Look for the upstairs entrance off Biltmore Ave in the same building as The One Stop, parking downtown gets tight, so give yourself extra time. The room holds around 500 standing and the sound hits hard, especially when shows run past midnight with the younger crowd that packs in for indie and heavier acts.
