Rob 'Irie' Pieniak closes out his October run of Friday nights at The Whale Outpost in Haw Creek. He is a multi-instrumentalist who plays festivals solo and with a band, and his one-man shows build songs live by layering instruments on a loop pedal, so one performer can sound like a full band.

The Whale Outpost is the Haw Creek neighborhood beer bar from The Whale, with eight taps and a deep selection of packaged beer and wine. It is an easy East Asheville stop for live music on Halloween weekend without heading downtown.
