Jamie Hendrickson Quartet at Hotel Eve Jazz

Guitarist Jamie Hendrickson leads his quartet at Hotel Eve on Friday night. The band draws from Wes Montgomery, Pat Martino, George Benson and John Scofield, mixing jazz standards with modern takes and originals built on groove and deep swing.

Hendrickson co-founded Asheville's The Fritz and spent years as its guitarist and musical director, so he knows his way around funk and soul as well as jazz. Hotel Eve is a candlelit listening room in a 1907 basement downtown.

Sets start at 8 and 9:30 PM on Friday, November 6 at Hotel Eve Jazz, 56 N Lexington Ave. Weekend cover is $15. Reserve a table through Turntable Tickets or buy at the door. 21 and up.

Hotel Eve is a speakeasy-style upscale jazz and cocktail lounge in downtown Asheville, featuring live jazz performances by local and rotating artists in an intimate hidden setting.Hotel Eve Jazz, Apple Maps, Stu Helm
