Bassist Danny Iannucci leads a quartet of in-demand Asheville players at Hotel Eve on Saturday. Peter Dimery plays saxophone, Alex Taub plays keys and Joe Enright plays drums, working through jazz standards and originals with deep grooves and plenty of room to improvise. Iannucci studied with bassist Eliot Wadopian at Western Carolina University and has spent nearly two decades on the Western North Carolina scene, including time with The Resonant Rogues. Hotel Eve is a jazz listening room in a 1907 basement downtown. Sets start at 8 and 9:30 PM on Saturday, November 7 at Hotel Eve Jazz, 56 N Lexington Ave. Cover is $15.
