Thursday night at Asheville Music Hall works well if you want a proper show without the weekend crush. The room's got good sound and enough space to actually move around, which makes it solid for a mid-week thing that won't wreck your Friday. Look for the entrance on Biltmore Ave that leads upstairs from street level, same building as The One Stop, just head up. The room holds around 500 standing, and parking downtown gets tight, so give yourself a few extra minutes to find a spot and make your way in.
