The Asheville Club on Haywood Street downtown is a bar and cafe that pours craft beer from Western North Carolina breweries, plus locally brewed ginger beer and cider. There's also espresso, wine and non-alcoholic options.

Locals like it as a downtown hangout that works for a coffee in the afternoon or a beer at night, with free live music on Fridays and Saturdays.
