Masterworks 3: Double Take with the Asheville Symphony

The Asheville Symphony is pairing a Minimoog synthesizer with a full orchestra for Masterworks 3: Double Take. Inna Faliks plays Gabriel Prokofiev's Concerto for Minimoog Synthesizer and Orchestra, and Darko Butorac conducts selections from grandfather Sergei Prokofiev's Romeo and Juliet. A Kabalevsky overture opens the program. There are two shows on Saturday, November 14, at 2 and 8 PM, at First Baptist Church of Asheville. Before the concert, at intermission and after the final note, the Bob Moog Foundation runs a Minimoog Playground where you can turn the knobs yourself.
