Fjord follows the Gheorghiu family, who leave Romania for a remote Norwegian village near Lisbeth's family after Mihai's parents die. They settle in, grow close to their neighbors the Halbergs, and the kids bond across different upbringings. Then their daughter Elia shows up at school with bruises, and the community starts asking hard questions about how the devout couple raises their children. Cristian Mungiu directed. Runtime is 146 minutes. The 1 and 4 PM shows are in the main auditorium; the 7:20 PM shows are upstairs with no elevator. Friday October 30 through Wednesday November 4 at 1, 4 and 7:20 PM, and Thursday November 5 at 1 and 4 PM at Fine Arts Theatre.
