The outdoor stage setup gives you actual breathing room compared to the indoor taproom, and since you can bring your dog until 8pm, it's a solid spot to post up early with a craft beer before the residency bands kick in. Parking's around back off Allen Street if you're driving into West Asheville.

One World Brewing is a craft brewery with two Asheville taprooms. One World West, at 520 Haywood Road in West Asheville, has a bright upstairs taproom, an outdoor stage and bar, rotating food trucks, and weekly jazz, indie and funk shows. One World Downtown, the original location, is a speakeasy three flights below 10 Patton Avenue, where you can catch a small show or play Sjoelbak, a Dutch shuffleboard game.

Regulars know the beer list by heart. West pours everything from the 10-barrel brewhouse on its bottom floor, and warm nights at the outdoor stage are the best time to go. Downtown feels like a hideout, with beer poured straight from the original brew tanks.
