Back From the Dead: Stanley Brothers Tribute at Cork & Keg

Stanley Brothers songs get a Halloween tribute at Cork & Keg on Saturday, October 31, with Back From the Dead.

Derek Vaden on banjo, Daniel Ullom on guitar and Celia on bass take on the bluegrass songs, with guests joining them.

Come in costume or come as you are, and catch the set from 8 to 10:30 p.m. at 86 Patton Avenue in downtown Asheville.

Located inside The Weinhaus, a 40+ year-old beer and wine store in Asheville, Cork & Keg Bar offers a refined selection of wines and draft beers by the glass as well as cheese plates and lite snacks. The bar features a cozy indoor space and inviting patio seating overlooking lively downtown Asheville and Pritchard Park, perfect for people watching or enjoying live music. Frequent live entertainment from local musicians makes Cork & Keg a favored spot for locals looking to wind down with a quality drink and good vibes.

Locals praise the friendly, knowledgeable bartenders and a well-curated wine and beer list. Many highlight the relaxed atmosphere, especially during happy hours or live music nights on Fridays and Saturdays. They appreciate the easy access to shop the adjoining Weinhaus bottle shop if they find something to take home. The bar has a welcoming, neighborhood feel despite its central location.
