The Scoop
Wolves in the Throne Room plays Friday, January 29. Black metal band from Olympia, Washington, formed by brothers Aaron and Nathan Weaver in 2002. They've put out seven full-length albums and lean heavy into atmospheric, nature-focused themes that set them apart from typical black metal acts. Eulogy sits at 400 capacity, which lands it right between the cramped DIY spots and the bigger rooms downtown where ticket fees start to sting. The room opened in 2023 on Buxton Ave in South Slope with Burial's sound system and runs all-ages by default, though the under-21 crowd has to clear out by 11pm and weekend DJ nights skew older anyway.
