Friday early show at The Social East, doors at 5:30. Good spot to kick off the weekend before things get too late, and that room's always solid for a relaxed hang with decent sound. The kitchen here keeps slinging burgers and wings well past midnight when the rest of East Asheville has gone dark, making it the go-to spot when you need actual food after a late set. Open until 1 or 2am seven nights a week, it's one of those rare neighborhood spots where you can shoot pool, catch a band on Friday, and still order a proper meal at closing time.
