Location: The Workshop Lounge

Soulful Jazz w/ Anne Coombs plays Workshop Lounge at The Foundry Hotel on Sunday, November 8 at 7:00 PM. Get there a little early if you want a good spot.

The Workshop Lounge is a craft cocktail bar and live music room inside The Foundry Hotel on South Market Street in downtown Asheville's Block neighborhood. The space runs a serious rotating cocktail menu alongside scheduled live music Wednesday through Saturday: jazz residencies, acoustic sets, and small-group ensembles that fill the room without overwhelming it. It's a spot that works as a hotel bar and a neighborhood bar at the same time, which isn't easy to pull off.

"Wednesday nights here are a regular thing for me. The Asheville Jazz Collective plays and it's free, the bartenders are actually good at their jobs, and you can hear the band without shouting across the table. It's the kind of place downtown Asheville needed more of."
