Limones is closing after 22 years on Eagle Street, and Saturday, November 14 is the last night to eat there. Chef Hugo Ramirez and Amy Cavanaugh are retiring, so this is your last shot at the Mexican and California cooking that has kept downtown regulars coming back since 2004.

Dinner starts at 5 PM, Tuesday through Sunday, at 15 Eagle Street. It's closed Mondays. Tables are filling up fast for the final week, and reservations booked for after November 14 will be canceled.

Limones is a downtown Asheville restaurant on Eagle Street in the historic J.A. Wilson Building, serving Mexican and Californian cooking for more than 20 years. Chef Hugo Ramirez, a Mexico City native, gives traditional Mexican dishes a modern twist, served with cocktails in a small, warm dining room.

Locals book Limones for a date night or a special dinner downtown. The room is small, the service is great, and the food is unlike any other Mexican spot in town.
