AVL Ride, also known as Asheville Taxi, is a locally owned taxi and car service covering the whole Asheville area 24/7 since 2014. Pick a sedan, a black car sedan, an XL minivan or SUV that seats six, or a 15-passenger van for a wedding or brewery tour.

It's one of the only taxi companies allowed to pick up and drop off right at Asheville Regional Airport, and it does private rides to Charlotte, Greenville-Spartanburg and other regional airports too. Book with the free app for iPhone and Android, book online, or call or text and talk to a real person.

With Uber and Lyft spotty around town, plenty of locals keep AVL Ride saved for airport runs and late nights. They also drive meal donations for Food Connection and help Mission Hospital patients get home.
