Zillicoah Beer Company in Woodfin hosts a weekly Jazz and Blues Jam every Monday evening from 6–8 PM, hosted by guitarist Paul Helou. It's an open session — players of all levels are welcome to sit in, and the crowd that shows up tends to know their stuff.

Zillicoah sits right on the French Broad River with one of the best outdoor settings of any brewery in the area. The riverside patio makes it worth the short drive from downtown.

Their approach favors longer, slower fermentation, with a cellar dedicated to clean lagers and wild ales fermented in foeders, barrels, and open tanks. Family-friendly on Sundays, 21+ the rest of the week, and always welcoming dogs outdoors.
