Korean & Japanese Pop-Up at Zillicoah Beer Company

Zillicoah Beer Company hosts a Korean and Japanese food pop-up on Tuesday, November 3, from 2 to 9 PM or until sold out.

Kim's Asian Store and Yamaneko take over the Master BBQ truck for one day, with galbi, samgyeopsal, gyudon and tsukune on the announced lineup. The regular Master BBQ menu will not be served.

Head to 870 Riverside Drive in Woodfin and order at the truck. Walk-ups only, with no phone reservations.

Zillicoah Beer Company sits on the banks of the French Broad River, just north of downtown Asheville in Woodfin. Renowned for open-fermented farmhouse ales and lagers, Zillicoah specializes in small-batch beers crafted with a blend of tradition and creativity. 

Reopened after major flood repairs in 2025, the brewery is back with new energy, offering up to a dozen taps (plus cider and wine), a rotating lineup of food trucks, and some of the best riverside seating in the Asheville area. Their approach favors longer, slower fermentation, with a cellar dedicated to clean lagers and wild ales fermented in foeders, barrels, and open tanks. Family-friendly on Sundays, 21+ the rest of the week, and always welcoming dogs outdoors.

Locals appreciate Zillicoah for its laid-back, scenic vibe and dedication to small-batch, open-fermented styles. The spot’s relaxed, picnic-table setting along the river is ideal for sunny afternoons, live music, or just hanging out.
